For charter operators
Your operator page, managed by you
BeenAboard lists charter operators from the FAA’s public Part 135 records. Manage your page to confirm passengers’ flights and reply to reviews in public.
What you can do
Everything happens in Operator tools in the iPhone app, once a moderator approves your request.
Confirm flights
Flights logged on your aircraft that aren’t verified yet appear in Operator tools. Confirm them while the trip is fresh.
Reply to reviews
Reply in public to any review of your operator, one reply per review. You can edit your reply, or take it down and write a new one.
Read every review
See every published review of your operator, with its stars, scores and words. Scores appear once at least five verified flights are behind them.
The same rules for everyone
Travelers trust reviews they know can’t be bought or buried. These rules protect your page too.
- Reviews are never removed or hidden for being negative.
- No one can pay to remove, hide or change a review.
- Reviews show “Verified flyer”, never the reviewer’s name.
- A moderator removes a review only if it’s abusive, fake, off-topic or shares private information. If you think a review breaks these rules, report it in the app.
- Replies must be professional and must never identify a passenger.
- A moderator spot-checks reviews verified only by an operator’s confirmation.
How to get started
Only an operator’s own staff can manage its page.
Get the app
When BeenAboard launches, download it on your iPhone and sign in with Apple.
Ask to manage your page
Go to Account → For operators, find your company and send your work email and job title.
Wait for approval
A moderator checks that you work for the operator, then approves your request. Operator tools then appear in your account.
Facts from public FAA records
Your page shows what public FAA records list for your certificate, such as your legal and trade names, where you’re based and when your certificate was issued.
BeenAboard isn’t a safety rating. It doesn’t rate, certify or audit operators, and it never says whether an operator or a flight is legal.
Questions from operators
Write to [email protected] with anything about your operator’s page.
